Forum purpose

What all do you guys want this place to be? To me I'd like it to be a place to talk and discuss serious topics if we want but no one is forcing us to. I certaintly won't. Faith is really a personal thing to me and I only let people who I really respect lead me. However if you learn something new and just want to share feel free! I love it when God speaks to me through whatever.

I want us to figure out a balance of the serious stuff and fun stuff, which is something that Kings Feet never really got down. Does that sound okay?

Yeah, I say this should be a forum that welcomes all people as Jesus welcomed all people. It should be a place were we can be not afraid of discussing things, even contraversial things- lets expand our minds a little! It doesn't mean we have to change our minds on things but lets not hide from ideas or thoughts.

And as for opinions and emotions- you can't escape them. Every commentary on any Bible passage or book, no matter who wrote it, no matter how ancient, is their opinion (albeit educated). Unless you were right there when the actual book was being written (or carved on tablets)it's your opinion through which you're reading that passage, or defining that word. So as long as you don't let your emotions get out of control to where you're calling people names or behaving like a big baby, I don't see why opinions and emotions are bad.

As for fun and random topics and games- why not?! Sheesh, don't you think God has a sense of humor? Call me some sort of horrid sinner, but I think God has a sense of humor.

I'm fine with pretty much whatever, as long as we keep our posts decent and clean..what'd you want to discuss?

And yes, God did have a sense of humor! Look at the animals He made and then tell me He didn't
