    Randomly talking

Post  kris on Sat Mar 07, 2009 5:48 pm

So im gooona tell you about something im wondering about...

I don`t feel anymore.. its like my heart has turned into a ROCK. seriosly

I used to feel a lot.. ive had two broken hearts, and i got really broken up over them.. in both relationships we were on/off a LOT.... went out, broke up, got back together kinda thing... i spent so much time in pain...

HOwever.. this was before i fully comitted my life to God... And now just thinking.. I think since than, i havne`t felt much... But sometimes it`s not just the bad stuff i dont feel.. I dont feel the good stuff at potently either, like laughing til i cry.. and you know what`s sad? you can laugh... but you know how when you go on a big roller coaster, and you get butterflies in your stomach? or when your nervous, and goona see somebody important? I dont get those butterflies anymore.. a very few times...

    I dont feel...

    am i just growing up?

Awww, Kris, I'll be praying for you! I can't really say that I know what you're feeling, as I can cry at literally anything and get stupidly excited over the silliest of things. Maybe it is just the age you are at the moment, and time will sort it out. That's not much consolation I know though. Crying or Very sad

If you want to PM me, then please do.

I don't know...my sister is quite similar as she struggles to cry at anything. She hates it sometimes! Or maybe it's just your heart's way of stopping you from getting hurt. I'm sure in the right situation you will open up again.

Aw Kris! I know exactly how you feel! Do you open up to anyone at home? Like a friend or your mom or anyone like that? I have noticed that since Drew and I broke up, I wouldn't even trust my friends. I wouldn't talk to anyone.. I wouldn't cry.. I would feel like crying, just couldn't bring myself to actually cry.

Maybe you should try and be open to someone.. Please PM me if you want! Smile

i was doing a quiz on facebook yesterday.. there was a question..
is there anyone who knows everything about you you? no.. different people know deiiferent parts..
knowdo you trust your friends? and idk what i answered, but honestly.. no..

i dont trust them for the fact if i tell them something they`ll keep it a secret is what i was thinking of...

Definitely not to anyone at home.. nope no way.. i tell my mom some stuff what im up to.

i tell my friends a lot of stuff.. but idk..

i think im rambling now lol...

no.. sometimes i have a hard time opening up.

i think maybe it is my hearts way of protecting itself, your right..

and since my hearts been broken.. even though it was a few years ago.. since than i cant love

oh yeah did i mention.. i find it IMPOSSIBLE to love??? it scares me... like i love people in general.. but LOVE loveing a guy.. IMPOSSIBLE... thats kinda a really big problem... I dont love.. my heart is a complete rock!!

This sounds on the surface a bit cliched, but maybe it's just because you haven't found the right man yet. I had a few crushes on people when I was younger, as we all do, and wondered if it was love at the time...but actually being in love with the right person is mind-blowing and I could never imagined how it feels. Maybe think of it as God's way of protecting your heart from making mistakes? I'm sure you will be able to love when you need to.

Aw I have really been going through the same thing! Not to take away from your post but this guy told me he loves me.. really loves me.. I was like ok.. I mean I like this guy alot. I like hanging out with him, but what exactly is love? and how do you know for a fact that you love someone?

It's so confusing! I pray that you will be able to open up to someone! Very Happy

Crying or Very sad Awwww, that's horrible. Don't give anyone anything to gossip about; guy friends are a really tricky area and I know people have different views on them. I tend to be quite careful as I don't want the least hint of a rumour starting. I'm sure you can prove everyone wrong. Smile

Remember that you won't always be around these people either..Joel Osteen said recently that if some people don't like you, let them go, and God has better friends in store for you. Being a teenager is such a rough age, but believe me..it does pass and when you're my age, you'll want that time back! Focus on the good, don't rush getting into a relationship..use this time to discover who you are and your interests and passions. Smile Also remember that boys mature at a much lesser rate than girls do..so it's (almost) pointless to get into a relationship at your age, as many guys are still in junior high maturity wise Razz

Haha, Yeah, I have more! There are twelve years between my husband and I...And I've never cared! It's great! However, as long as you're under 18, it is illegal to go out with someone that much older, and I'd really recommend waiting another year or so.

Yeah, it's the whole Adult/Minor thing. If you're only a few months apart, and he just turned 18, and you will in about 6 months or so, that's okay, although if anything (sexual or violent) happens in that time frame (shouldn't anyway, and I don't think in your case it would, but, you know, just for the sake of the point here) he can go to jail. Shocked It can be scary stuff now that everything is regulated! That's one reason why we waited until I was 18 to start dating. (And I was no longer one of his church members at that time, which would have been a little wierd)

Hope that helps some. Normally, in a Christian relationship, where you're following the boundaries that God set in place, there's nothing to worry about.

I'm gonna stop now before I choke on my foot. Laughing

    LOL Heidi..

this sort of fits in..the other night I was talking to a customer and he must have looked older than he was because once he heard I graduated high school 4 years ago, he finished paying and literally took off. Shocked Shocked LOL, poor kid. I realized later he was probably still in high school or just out of it lol

18? Shocked Here it's 16 (I assume you're talking about the age of consent). I didn't realise it was so much older in America! (not that I think 16 is old enough, but that's beside the point...)

Wow, I didn't realise that. Not that I approve at all of 16, I hasten to add, I'm just surprised that it is so high where you are. I guess you can't get married under 18 at all? (Though why people would, goodness knows!)

Yeah, you can get married younger...with your parent's signatures. In some states you can get married as young as 14 if your parents sign, and the judge decides it's okay. (Which normally only happens if the girl is pregnant) I personally think that younger than 18 would be too young. I was 19, and I know that I wasn't emotionally ready very much before then. My advice to young women is to wait til 17 at least to start dating, and at least 18 before marriage. *shrugs* I know there's some who won't agree, but that's my advice for those who ask.
